  As we near the end of a very productive 1st quarter, I wanted to update you on the current available bank owned/foreclosure product on the market.  We continue to see the desirable bank owned inventory moving quickly and within 85% of asking price.  As I tell everyone, if you are looking to take advantage of one of these opportunities, please communicate with me and be ready.  The best of the best do not hang around long. 

A few interesting stats:

  • 53% of the total foreclosures available are vacant land.
  • Area Lis Pendens filed with the county are down 66% from this time last year. (this is key in predicting the amount of homeowners who may be in future foreclosure)
  • Of all Residential properties sold since 01.01.2011 – 3.18.2011, 19% have been Foreclosures.
